TypePad AntiSpam - freie Alternative mit Akismet-API

Ich überlege immernoch ob ich mein Blog nicht selbst hosten sollte. Das erleichert so Dinge wie Statistken und Design-Anpassung enorm. Andererseits muss man sich dann um die Probleme mit Attacken und Spam selbst kümmern.

Typepad Antispam macht mir da Hoffnung das SPAM-Problem auf vernünftige Art und Weise selbst in den Griff zu Bekommen.

"TypePad AntiSpam" arbeitet offenbar so ähnlich wie ein Spam System für emails. Vom Besucher abgeschickte Kommentare werden zuerst an den TypePad AntiSpam Server weitergeleitet. Dieser nimmt eine SPAM-Einstufung für den Kommentar vor und teilt sie der Blog-Software mit. Daraufhin kann die Blog-Software je nach Einstellung und je nachdem welchen "SPAM-Score" der TypePad AntiSpam Server vergeben hat entscheiden wie weiter verfahren wird. (zB. sofortige Eintragung oder Zulassung durch Blog-Author erforderlich)

TypePad AntiSpam ist freie Software und lässt sich aufgrund der Nachbildung der Akismet-API auch leicht in andere Blog-Software einbinden.
